Each dot on the card points one special relative humidity degree. The dot color will change along with the RH degree from blue to pink (common cobalt-containing HIC) or brown to green (cobalt-free HIC). This changing helps decide the inside RH degree and confirm whether the desiccant should be replaced or not. The commonly-used types are 5-10-60%, 30-40-50%, and 10-60% etc. Special specification can be customized. It is usually used together with moisture barrier bag and desiccant.
